Research profile and key clinical specialties

I run a multi-disciplinary research team based at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, whose focus is on understanding mechanisms underlying cough.

We have developed a commercialised device for objectively monitoring cough events, which we utilise in early phase clinical trials of novel therapies and experimental medicine studies.
