Michael completed an ESPRC funded MSc in Biomedical Imaging during his undergraduate medical training at Guy'€™s, King'€™s & St Thomas'€™ School of Medicine. After undertaking clinical paediatric training in London, he moved to to Sheffield to complete a NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in clinical radiology. He led a prospective clinical research study assessing fetal brain growth using in utero magnetic resonance imaging and 3D volumetric modelling as well as conducting research in the imaging of suspected physical child abuse. He is currently completing sub-specialist training in paediatric radiology with a clinical and research interest in paediatric musculoskeletal imaging.
