After graduating with Bachelor of Health Science from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Jonathan moved to the UK to complete his MBBS at St George's University of London in 2011. He started as an academic foundation trainee in Brighton before moving to Manchester for an ACF in Cancer Therapeutics in 2013 working in Prof Marais' lab, and co-supervised by Prof Lorigan and Prof Griffiths. He has been a specialty registrar in Medical Oncology at The Christie since 2015. He recently obtained MRes Medical Sciences (Distinction) from the University of Manchester for his work on developing novel circulating cells-derived xenographs (CDXs) in melanoma.
Research Interest: Jonathan is interested in the translational space particularly in the areas of Molecular Oncology, Immunology and Immunotherapy in melanoma.
