I currently work as a full-time specialty trainee in Geriatric Medicine in North West England, having graduated in Edinburgh, 2011. I became interested in research during my final years at university, and undertook a Masters degree in Internal Medicine whilst working as a junior doctor. After establishing myself down in Manchester, I became interested in novel strategies to care for the growing number of frail, older people in our society. I currently work as an Honorary Research Fellow with the Health eResearch Centre, University of Manchester on a number of projects involving health data, technologies and older people.
Research Interest: My interest is in the role sensor technologies can play to support older people to stay active, independent and healthy.
