I am a level four Specialty Trainee in Paediatrics and recently completed an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship based at the Centre of Reviews and Dissemination at the University of York. I completed an MSc by Thesis and have published several Cochrane systematic reviews. My research focus has been on the prevention of infection in preterm infants, which have developmental immaturity of the immune system. In March 2016, I transferred my clinical training to the North East and continue to develop my academic career interests, pursuing an interest in immune dysregulation.

Research Interest:  I have a research interest in understanding the underpinning genetic and molecular pathways that result in early onset immune dysregulation  and enteropathy.
