I am rheumatology registrar at the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine (LIRMM), one of Europe's leading rheumatology units.
During my time as clinical trials fellow then as NIHR academic clinical fellow (ACF), I have gained experience working on a number of research studies in the fields of Spondyloarthropathies, RA, PMR, GCA and undifferentiated arthritis.
Aside from clinical experience, I have gained basic laboratory skills during my undergraduate intercalated degree and ACF training. I wish to focus on the discovery end of the research spectrum with the ultimate goal of translating these findings from bench to bedside.
Research Interest: My main interest lies in the field of Giant Cell Arteritis and my aspiration is to gain new insights into the pathogenesis of GCA and translate this into new therapeutic options.
