I intercalated in clinical and molecular endocrinology at King’s College London, and was able to undertake a clinical project as part of my dissertation as well as getting my first taste of lab work. After completing my medical degree in Sheffield, I went onto an Academic Foundation Programme in paediatrics in Leicester looking at triage tools in the emergency department.

I am now in the third year of my Academic Clinical Fellow post in paediatrics in Sheffield and have gone back to basic science work. As well as this I am coming up to completing a PGDip in clinical research.

Research Interest:  My interest lies within osteogenesis imperfecta, with a goal of identifying abnormal pathways and repurposing existing drugs to target these within a novel xenograft lab model.
