I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 after developing a keen interest in research during my undergraduate studies. I am a Histopathology trainee currently working as a Clinical Research Fellow with the Gastro-intestinal Pathology research group at the University of Leeds after receiving a research bursary from CRUK and the Pathological Society. I will also be taking up a post as an Academic Clinical Fellow in Histopathology form April 2018. My major interest is in colorectal cancer, in particular the tumour micro-environment and how chemotherapy interacts with this.

Research Interest:    I am interested in the immune tumour microenvironment of colon cancer and how this can be used to predict response to chemotherapy.
